Re: Why waste money on a mouse pad.

Re: Australia's Social Media Ban

Re: Vigil mass before Holy Day (Immaculate Conception)
Church law says that you have to attend Mass in a given time frame. It says nothing about what the prayers and readings have to be. So a Mass on Sunday evening would satisfy the obligation for the Immaculate Conception no matter what the prayers and readings are.

Most (if not all) dying orders--male and female both--are dying of self-inflicted wounds.

Re: Mary: Immaculately conceived or The Immaculate Conception?
It is important to understand that Hebrew does not have superlatives, "good, better, best," etc, so when they wanted to say that someone was the best, or the greatest, or whatnot, they would say "blank is blank among the blanks". For example, they couldn't say "Tom Brady is...

My understanding of the current status: The Old Covenant is not salvific, but the Jews remain God's chosen people in a way that the rest of us are not.

She may well be dealing with ADD. Don't expect her to focus on anything for a long time, and don't think that calling her out will help. Go in bite-sized doses.

I was wrong about the new moon thing; eclipses are of course (duh) a full moon thing. And I found old eclipse dates:
Old eclipse dates.
For 30 A.D.: May 06 Jun 04 Nov 28
For 33 A.D.: Apr 03 Sep 27
