Not a Disney musical fan. Phantom doesn't resonate; it grates. I would defend Moulin Rouge, West Side Story, La La Land, Jersey Boys, The Producers, Cabaret, Evita, Grease, Sound of Music, The King and I, and on and on. And I'd leap, so to speak, to defend Show Boat. Sophia Loren was the only reaso...

Whew! I've gotta save this for later.
I love his non-fiction stuff. I hated the one fiction work I read - A Man in Full.

Anyway, with all due respect, Wikipedia may not be the most reliable source. As an online college tutor, we have a canned comment for papers that use Wiki-citations.

You're sure of this? Ebert says otherwise. If it was dubbed, was Howard Keel too busy to do it? I mean, even Audrey Hepburn got Marnie Nixon.

That movie - The Man of La Mancha. Does it still exist? I watched that once, and considered it penance for a wide array of sins. They should remake it, and bury forever that hideous version with Peter O'Toole attempting to sing.

Do you mean you can't go beyond infinity? My grandkids will be sooo disappointed when I explain the error in Buzz Lightyear's catch-phrase.

As fate would have it, I majored in English and Spanish education. Oddly, Cervantes wasn't on the reading list i...

I own an antique copy of this book - in Spanish.
I tried reading it in English years ago. I may attempt to tackle it again someday, but I'm pretty sure it won't be in Spanish. My skill is just not up to it.
