Thanks for the welcome guys! I was sad to learn things had stopped over at DCF (it was a bit disheartening to read 'DCF is dead!' over there). The briefly is because life is overwhelming and I have too many other things taking my time that I wish weren't. When I think about it - which isn't often enough - I do pray for you all.

I jumped back on looking for some consolation after the media mangling of the resent document from the Vatican. I'm holding on to the argument...

The church offers blessings to anyone, even those living in sin. The church is not blessing their sin, but offering a blessing to help them overcome their sin, just as it might do to a non-married heterosexual couple living outside of marriage.

DCF is dead, etc. was meant as a play on "The king is dead! Long live the king!" I am sorry if it was unsettling.
