I was in high school. Had a couple of his albums back in the early 70's. Still like Moonshadow & later, Oh, Very Young.

He's dropped the 'Islam' part and goes by Yusuf Cat Stevens now but he's been back doing his good old stuff plus some new non Islam related stuff, since at least 2009 when we saw him in concert down here.

:salut: Over the years I've collected most of the albums but always reach for Teaser and the Firecat. Those songs take me back so well.

Teaser and the Firecat was and still is on my top ten favorites ever since I bought it when I was in high school. I'm fond of songs on Tea for the Tillerman and Catch Bull at Four. I lost interest in him after the next album, except for "Oh Very Young." He may as well have turned into George Harrison for all I know with that inane Living in the Material World.
