A Pope can tolerate only so many acts of disobedience and defiance, frankly by historical standards, Lefebvre got off easy Paul VI gave him little more than a slap on the hand compared to what Piux IX would have done in the same circumstances. Never mind someone like Innocent III.
If you ever feel like Captain Picard yelling about how many lights there are, it is probably time to leave the thread.

Lefebvre's disobedience would not have existed under Pius IX, etc.
