Weird that Francis seems to believe the exact opposite of that. He explicitly rejects that the law is clear or simple, but rather that it's merely "an ideal, not to be rigidly held on to," and that instead it is "the complex real-world experiences of people" that the law should be adapted to.
Hence the reason that Pope Francis mission makes complete sense to multitudes of us. It gets back to the basic teaching of love for one another, equal in dignity and deserving of a share in the bounty of the earth etc."
Except for when it comes to those who himself and you label "Pharisees".....they don't get love or mercy. They apparently don't deserve anything except his and your ridicule, scorn, disdain, resentment, intolerance, abuse, etc.

Yours and his mischaracterizations of traditional catholics aren't out of love, or concern, or out of hope for their supposed repentance for those you're leveling your criticisms, they're merely out of petty vindictiveness and spite.

You both should stop trying to use Jesus as a crutch and cover for your ideological vendettas.
You’d need to be a contortionist extraordinaire to make your interpretation fit.
Yeah, that was my whole point. Weaponized ambiguity is a weapon of the propagandist, of the possessed ideologue, not of someone interested purely in honest dialogue. It's purpose is to tickle the ears of the naive and gullible. And from the perspective of those that you're trying to "other" it looks exactly like you intuited it to be: a pathological act of manipulation.

Now you get a taste of what Francis looks like from those you and he "others" on a constant basis.
