I watched that and thought it was funny, but I don't think I liked it. There's some kind of allegorical something going on there and I can't quite figure out what it is, but it seems pretty awful. Or maybe I'm just wrong. Josh was great. All the actors were great, actually, I mean it was well-made. Just think I didn't like it.

We saw Oppenheimer at the theatre last weekend. My review is that it was too long. I'm glad that I know how the story went though in the lead up to the bombings. The ethical dilemma and all. The 2 gratuitous sex scenes were a thumbs down. I closed my eyes through them. They did nothing at all for the story.

You called him "Josh" :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: (TWW is my Star Trek).

We enjoyed that show back during its first run. I watched a little bit of it awhile ago and couldn't get into it again. :( But I remember really liking the one show where Josh and Toby had a bet where the loser had to preface everything he said that day with "I'm so-and-so and I work at the White House." It was hilarious.

Not too long after TWW ended, Josh was on a ridiculous cop show where he had a 70's stache and stuff. It was cancelled pretty quick but mrs. gherkin and I loved it. Or I did. I think she did. Maybe she was just being nice. I like Josh. It's probably why we rented Cabin in the Woods.

I bet it was because there wasn't an iceberg in it.

I'm only familiar with one movie that has an iceberg in it and it is objectively terrible
If you ever feel like Captain Picard yelling about how many lights there are, it is probably time to leave the thread.

Oddly, I am not sure an iceberg would have helped. :fyi:

That is a 2 part episode titled "20 Hours In America" and it is one of my favorites!

I buy MAX streaming because TWW is there, I also own all seasons on DVD in case it disappears from streaming, EOTWAWKI, etc.

The first season, especially the first half of the first season, was pretty terrible. The Wing Nuts blame it all on the character "Mandy". The companion, episode by episode, podcast "The West Wing Weekly" is interesting, I plan on a full re-watch/re-listen as a treat to myself when I finish EOY financials alive.
