A small example that comes to mind in Australia is in the area of bush fire management. The colonisers knew from the early days that indigenous people had fire management skills developed over 40 thousand years but they stepped in and for 200 years did it their own way. It’s only been in the last decade or two that we’ve accepted that the indigenous way is far better for the environment here and have based fire management directly on that expertise.

Is that really "culture"? It just sounds like knowledge to me.

It demonstrates one aspect of systemic bias in that the 'colonial mindset' with it's goal of city building and expansion approached fire management to protect those goals. Whereas the indigenous mindset always included concern for the whole environment as a thing to be respected in and of itself.

It's more than just knowledge. It's about vastly different worldviews deeply embedded in the system.

Jewish-ness is an ethnicity and also a religious group. People can be one, the other or both. I would not consider Jewish people as a separate race.

Bigotry based on religion or ethnicity is morally wrong.

The Jew haters don't care about the distinction - they don't focus on the religion, they focus mainly on the ethnicity.

It is a form of racism, hating them based on their ethnic group.
