If a soft guideline for these discussions is "hyperbole is understood not to be real truth", let us apply that to every candidate, every source and not just to "my guy".

That's fine. When Harris praised President Biden as a "fighter" at a rally on July 12 and implied that he was fit for another four-year term as President (after the debate with Trump!) did her listeners understand that as hyperbole, or did they think she was telling the truth as she perceived it?

Just for the record, I don't have "a guy." Actually I am pretty disgusted with it all. But Harris is an anti-Catholic bigot who would NEVER have made it through a primary and who is a terrifying prospect for President. These last 4 years have been horrible but under her it would be even worse. I honestly don't understand how any person of faith can begin to give a defense for her.

Well the sum of %s of people who believe she was at least "somewhat" involved in covering up Biden's cognitive decline and unsuitability for office is 92% (68% + 17% + 7% = 92%) according to the poll. But I agree that she didn't necessarily lie, she may merely have been deceptive without actually lying.
