What a story... some kid named Nick Shirley has been going to numerous daycares in Minneapolis where there are simply no children around and all of the doors are locked.

These are daycares catering to Somali communities and, in many instances, owned by Somalis.

He has a video series where he goes to daycare after daycare, attempting to open the door, finding them to be locked. Parking lots vacated. In some instances there's no one even responding to the door knocks. In other instances, there's a handful of adults milling around, forming a wall of bodies to disallow seeing into the facility.

Either the daycare is in a building with no windows, or the windows are completely blacked-out, disallowing anyone to see inside.

Nick visited multiple daycares with the same results. He goes to the daycare with another older gent who has a sheet that states how much in tax funds the daycare has received for the year and a rough count of how many kids should be there.

I live in Milwaukee, similar to Minneapolis... I've never seen a daycare where there were either no windows or the windows are blacked out. And, even allowing for that... you always get the sense that there are children there.

Some CNN affiliate in Minneapolis ran a story on that and then questioned with a "Lo! there are children!". Running security footage showing one or two children being ushered in. Certainly falling short of the claims of 70 to 90 kids that should be there. People in the comments claiming that those are just the children of the parents that run the daycare, using them now as props to show an ... ahem... bustling daycare.

Minnesota has 6 times as many daycare centers as Los Angeles, even though the population of Minnesota is only twice the population of Los Angeles

The counterattack by the Progressive Left has already begun. Today I saw references to stories in which the revelation of daycare corruption was dismissed, where there was an open threat of daycare centers shooting investigators, plus the usual racist nonsense.

Well, the good thing with the "RACIST!" concussion grenade lob is that it seems to be losing its effect.

That's what Tim Walz was barking when he was addressing it. "White supremacy"... "racism".

So much money being wasted in those bogus programs in MN.

And it sounds like Ohio has just as bad of a problem with these bogus daycares.

What an absurd joke... the response from one of the daycare owners.

At the 2 minute mark, talking about the break-in he states, "this is devastating news". Who talks like that? If your house is broken into and you're addressing people about it to say, "what happened to my house is devastating news" would almost sound comical.

Someone breaks in and steals records. Sure, probably the same records that would have shown the kids that were actually enrolled.

My immediate thought upon hearing the claim of stolen records was that the stolen records contained irrefutable proof that the daycare was chock full of eager, well behaved, patriotic, but impoverished Somali kids. And that the center was overrun round the clock providing care as their Somali parents grubbed out a meager income, unable to provide a basic level of human existence without day care welfare. All, of course,due to racism.

The next move, I assume, will be for the MN power structure to arrest or sue or seize the computers of anyone disputing the validity of the claim of stolen records. Because racism.

You can't make this stuff up. Apparently, in Washington state, where similar allegations of Somali daycare fraud have just been made. at least one government prosecutor has stated that those making such allegations may be investigated for hate crimes.

The rot in the welfare system is being revealed to be deeper, more pervasive, and more enabled by various governmental agencies that even I suspected.

I hope this draws a large amount of scrutiny to that gov't prosecutor.

Such a silly term too.. "hate crime".
