Try telling that to some people. They are so entrenched in what they were told as children, they can no longer see the forest for the trees.

As someone asked on the Interweb a couple of days ago: "I've always seen The Trinity as Infinity divided by 3, and that’s what I've told people because dividing infinity by 3 just gives you infinity 3 times. Let me know what y'all think?"

You would not believe how mad people get when you tell them the water example is bad.
OK, maybe you would.

Uhhh, infinity 3 times is just infinity.
I can distinctly remember - and mind blown - when I learned way back in school that a number like 3.99999 (with the bar over the last 9) is exactly equal to 4. not close to 4 but exactly equal to 4.

3 times infinity is actually mathematically meaningless, infinity is not a number and cannot be treated as one

Do you mean you can't go beyond infinity? My grandkids will be sooo disappointed when I explain the error in Buzz Lightyear's catch-phrase.

Sure you can. You can go from the countably infinite (integers, fractions) to the uncountably infinite (all real numbers).

Which torpedoes William Lane Craig's attempt to invoke Hilbert's Hotel in favor of the Kalaam argument. He doesn't see that subtraction is not well-defined for infinite numbers and claims to be confused because of conflicting results.
