Oh trust me they do! They are like sponges with things they see on TV. That to me sounds like something Angelica from Rugrats would say. Don't know if Rugrats is still on? When my daughter was in Grade 2 about 7 years old, her teacher was always laughing to me about things she came out with that I recognised from TV shows. One time the teacher asked the class did anyone know what a rhetorical question meant and my daughter said a question that doesn't need an answer and when asked how she knew that she said from The Simpsons.
They are like sponges at that age.
