Girls in the Boy Scouts

This was announced a few years ago... but girls are allowed in it now.
A couple of years back there were some girls in my son's Webelos troop. And it was annoying because with more female presence, when the boys were rough playing around before the meetings began there were moms and dads yelling at the boys to "settle down", because those girls who were already there were sitting down and waiting for the troop leader to start the meeting... while the boys were chasing each other around, wrestling, and doing things that little boys like to do. When you mix the sexes for something like this it isn't long until the behavior of the girl becomes the standard for how a boy should act.
It's fine for girls to have their own thing and it's fine for boys to have their own thing as well. But the bringers of all things inclusion don't seem to care for that.
Even Boy's Life magazine is now called Scout's Life and regularly features stories about girls being girl-bosses.
My son did decide to carry on to Boy Scouts and thankfully those girls have since dropped out. But, we'll see how long he stays on with scouting.
I can't imagine that allowing girls will be a huge boon for (boy) Scouts. And, I can easily see misunderstandings arising from how boys behave to how girls behave.
