Steve Skojek, an ex-Catholic commentator, had mentioned in one of his writings at the time he was losing his faith. He quoted a documentary on some cult, in which a member was thinking the same question: What if it's all false?

I am very much a layperson but I’ve heard plenty of priests interpret the story of Jesus differently than me.
Could you please illuminate the “plenty of priests” different interpretations of Jesus and you’ll need to include your interpretation of who Jesus was also to clear that air..
In my opinion, Jews killed Jesus, they just used non Jew military to carry out their dirty work.
The death of Jesus was a collaboration of Jewish priests and the Roman government. Both their various reasons colluded in his crucifixion IMHO.
I also do not believe Jesus was Jewish. I believe he was Hebrew
Of course He was. He followed all the religious rites of His time (read the Bible) not to mention both His family tree, Mary and Joseph are from the lines of Jewish descent. Joseph even from the line of David. "Hebrew" refers to the people who descended from Abraham, the patriarch of the ancient Israelites, and is often associated with the nomadic origins of the people in the land of Canaan. "Jewish" is a broader term that describes anyone who adheres to the religion of Judaism, who are descendants of the Israelites (especially the tribe of Judah), or who has formally converted to the faith… so says AI
I’ve heard a lot of priests say the blanket statement that “we are all Jews” but I do not think it makes any sense to be both a Jew and Catholic at the same time.
If they said this the Catholic faith has much to thank the Jews for our way of faith. In know way could I believe the statement ever implied you would be both religions at the same time
Because in my opinion Jews killed Jesus for the reason of disagreeing with the Jewish religion.
Basically correct IMHO but less about disagreeing and more about dismantling Christ came to establish His Church which differed substantially from their current practice of Judaism and they wanted to hold on to their religious/ceremonial practices that Jesus turned upside down right under their noses. He did so with a mass appeal and conversion. (again, read your Bible) it is rife with examples.
Jews basically say you cannot disagree with Jews and the punishment is they want you dead.
There’s too much disagreement between Jews and Catholicism. In my opinion they are not allies at all.
You need to read a fantastic book illuminating this exact experience. “Salvation Is From the Jews” by Roy H Schoeman a BS from MIT an MBA from Harvard and grew up under the tutelage of the American Judaism Rabbis. You will find as he did and relayed in his book the incredible similarities we as Catholics use in most notably, religious ceremonies et al. His time in to the subject is substantially more relevant than “Im very much a layperson” He currently converted to Catholicism because of Christ.
Catholics worship Jesus and we do it openly and we share this faith with others. On the other hand, Jews essentially worship themselves in more of a self serving sense. Jews conceal themselves and their beliefs away from non Jews. Much of Jews tradition is based in secrecy within the Jewish community. It’s even said in the Talmud not to tell non Jews of any of their traditions or ways of life.
Im sorry ITP but this is a sorrowful presumptuous statement of your own making. They worship the same God we do in a different way and although not a particularly demonstrative proselytizing or evangelizing group my experience has been very open if you approach with respect and sincere desire for knowledge.They typically will not come to you because they expect God to bring you to them if earnest.
Thus I am not Jewish even though I’ve heard priests say “all Christians are Jewish”. The way I see it is Jews hate Christian’s with absolute furious hatred. I’m not sure why exactly they hate us but they do.
Again ITP I would need specific examples of the “way you see it” displaying furious hatred of Christians I do not believe this to be correct but am certainly willing to see another substantiated POV I'm sure their are fanatics who do hate us but to intimate all Jews furiously hate us !, well ... If you’re not sure exactly why they hate us perhaps some deep dive in evidentiary verification providing explicit examples would be of assistance to your POV
