St. Mary, Mother of God

This is how you shall bless the Israelites. Say to them: “The Lord bless you and keep you! The Lord let his face shine upon you, and be gracious to you! The Lord look upon you kindly and give you peace!”

Instructions to Moses for blessing the people: “The Lord bless you and keep you! The Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you! The Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace!”

God sent the spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!”

1 John 2:22-28
« The promise that Christ made to us: eternal life. »

Existence ends in time. Eternal life is now and eternal.

John 1:19-28

1 John 2:29–3:6
“The world did not know him.”

The world does not know God.

The only way to recognize God in our lives is through the joy of the child within us.

John 1:29–34
John testifies, saying, “I saw the Spirit come down like a dove from the sky and remain upon him.”

John means that the dove is always with Jesus; the Holy Spirit is with him.

The Epiphany of the Lord

Isaiah 60:1-6
“Arise! Shine, for your light has come, the glory of the Lord has dawned upon you.”

Thanks to the light, to the grace of God, we stand. The glory of God within us is also the grace of God. Alleluia!

Ephesians 3:2-3a, 5-6

Saint Paul says to the Ephesians: “God’s grace that was given to me for your benefit.”

“God’s grace that was given to me.”

It is not only Mary who receives graces, but Saint Paul as well. This also means that we receive all of God’s graces. Let us welcome them.

Matthew 2:1-12
The Lord Jesus, Emmanuel, comes into our world, just as he is present, the present in our lives.

1 John 3:22–4:6
“Test the spirits to see whether they belong to God.” St. John

It is very true and simple to examine the words spoken or written, and we can verify if they are from God.

Matthew 4:12–17, 23–25
The presence of Jesus in the world brings about many healings.

Welcoming the presence of Jesus into our lives helps us to heal, especially of the heart, and to balance then purify what burdens our being.

1 John 4:7-10
"Love is of God."

Let us meditate on this for just one week. Love, joy, and peace comes from God; they are God.

Mark 6:34-44
Let us note that the first nourishment Jesus gives, is teaching.

Now, everything we say and everything others say to us is teaching. Let us carefully examine the words we speak and hear. Let us adjust them positively and realistically.
