If I were from New York, I wouldn't admit it, either.

I was a visitor from overseas it's true, but I absolutely loved New York City. We didn't get off Manhattan Is apart from going to and from the airport though. It was like the American version of London which I also loved.

Wow. That's a special achievement! 11 generations! I started to fall in love with NY watching those old movies like Miracle on 34th St, An Affair to Remember and Breakfast at Tiffany's. It is a place with a definite old spirit of the generations past.

New York was once a nice place and in the future, it might be a nice place again, but right now it is a dirty, violent cesspool run by a mayor who cares more about illegal immigrants than native New Yorkers and a corrupt DA funded by George Soros who refuses to prosecute violent crime because he is more interested in going after his political opponents. There were violent, antisemitic riots at Columbia University, the police stepped in and arrested the perpetrators and Alvin Bragg refused to prosecute any of them and let them all go free. To call New York a Third World hellhole is unfair to Third World hellholes. This is the worst the state the city has even been in its 400 year history, the 70s and 80s look tame by comparison.

We found the people we had interactions with in NYC to be just lovely, open, welcoming. After 2 days of getting our coffee across the street from our hotel, the staff knew my name and greeted me like a long lost friend for the next week.

The city we least liked was Los Angeles. It had a whole different vibe of indifference and no spirit at all in my opinion.

This is not the first time a fight over a prize dinosaur grabbed national attention and was followed by a criminal case.
