The Chosen Season 4
The Chosen Season 4
In general, I would say I like this season a little less than the previous ones. But it's still OK. I think we just watched episode 5 last night. It actually had a lovely conversation between our Lord and our Lady, where it was made clear that Mary fully understood Jesus's mission. I'm always a little on edge whenever they bring Mary into things, but this was good. They certainly stress the humanity of our Lord, perhaps almost to a slight fault, though of course there's no hedging on his divinity, either.

Re: The Chosen Season 4
Only watched a couple of episodes from the first season, and just couldn't get into it. Seemed a little too...I don't know... 'homey' for me.
But for those who like it, enjoy!

Same for me.
In other news, apparently, a "Chosen" spinoff will be one of those wilderness survival shows coming soon.
Trophy Dwarf, remember??

I get it's not for everyone! I'm not 100% happy with it, for sure.

I don’t remember what episode it is but this season they of the story of Jesus healing the servant of the centurion, although in this show they make it his illegitimate son (who knows maybe it was and the gospel writers called him a “servant” as a euphemism for his indiscretion) that scene is done very well.
If you ever feel like Captain Picard yelling about how many lights there are, it is probably time to leave the thread.
