How to Tell If You’re a Bigot

I find it quite easy to make the Catholic defense against abortion when it happens to be called for in real life, but as for homosexual sex, it's very hard to express unless I'm among likeminded people. I know quite a few practicing homosexual people that I know and like in passing but I can't think of how bringing it up as a point of correction say, will advance the Catholic cause. Anyone else find this real life situation difficult?

Australia might not feature the same forces at work here in the US. You don't have the "white privilege" narrative going.
